I lied in my last post. Well, not exactly lied. But I was deceitfully cheerful about our second house guest. The truth is, he told us originally that he would be staying at our studio apartment for one night. Yesterday was night #4. I have an irrational fear that he will never leave, that he will continue to stay at our apartment and just commute to Connecticut for classes. Which may not be such an irrational fear -- Dave has a history of behaving in a strange and illogical manner.
I guess the real problem is that Jason is too nice. If Dave wanted to stay with us for another year and a half, I'm afraid that Jason will just let him, rather than get into a confrontation about it. So I'd have to be the "bad cop" or whatever ... and I don't like confrontation either.

an un-ending houseguest? oh my! I hope that you can confront kindly, if need be. I miss Rue and Piper too:)
